The SLIPZ App allows you to receive digital receipts directly to your phone. Once it has been transferred to your phone, you can create folders and allocate your spending according to categories. The SLIPZ app solutions can also function as a stand-alone app with a host of additional features making SLIPZ a unique accounting tool.

The SLIPZ Merchant Portal or Software Plug-in is an extension which sends a digital receipt directly to a mobile device with the SLIPZ app installed onto the device, after API integration with a POS system.

After API integration, retailers will be able to send digital receipts to customers directly, eliminating the need to print paper receipts with the added benefit of cost-saving expense towards the purchase of till Rolls
Once retailers have completed the app setup and added SLIPZ to their profile, they can:
- Send receipts directly to customers after a transaction has been completed via the ‘Send to SLIPZ’ extension.
- A unique customer ID is requested after the ‘Send to SLIPZ’ function has been selected.
- The customers’ unique QR code or barcode is scanned into the POS system. If a customer’s data is turned off, a unique offline customer ID pin is then entered into the POS system. Thereafter retailers submit the transaction.
- A digital receipt is then sent directly to a customer’s mobile device eliminating the need to print a receipt. This way we save paper and we are kinder to the environment.
- Retailers can search past transactions and receipts on their POS merchant portal for exchange or authentication purposes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Upload Emailed Receipts?
Yes, if you have a PDF receipt in your email inbox and would like to add it to a SLIPZ wallet. Open the receipt and select the upload button usually located in the top left corner. Press on the button and select where you would like to send it. Choose SLIPZ from your phone drop down menu as the destination.
The receipts will be sent to your MY SLIPZ default wallet – the black wallet in the app.
Does SLIPZ use your location
Yes, SLIPZ uses your location to determine the currency you would like your data to be stored and exported in. SLIPZ is available in all major currencies and countries.
We do not track or sell data. The information collected is used for providing and improving our SERVICE. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy (read here).
How do I email my receipts?
Click on the export receipts button within a wallet, e.g. travel wallet. If you want to submit your travel expenses, select a date range from the date range menu and it will be emailed to your inbox.
Your receipts will be in your inbox. Remember to check your spam folder if you did not allow SLIPZ access.
You can also select all receipts in the menu bar, which is a wallet that keeps a copy of all your expenses in chronological order.
Can I edit the wallets?
We have created a few wallets for you which you can edit according to your needs by renaming them or changing colours.
- Upload Receipt – to scan a receipt or upload it from a file.
- Export Receipt – to email the receipt data in Excel and picture format.
- Calendar – to search receipts by selecting a date range.
- All Receipts – to see all you receipts and expenditure in chronological order regardless of category classification by selecting a date range.
- My SLIPZ – is a default wallet where PDF receipts from your email inbox and Digital Receipts from a Cash Register are sent.
- You can allocate them from this folder to any expense category
What is the QR code for?
Each user is assigned a unique QR CODE, Barcode and SLIPZ ID number.
Our SLIPZ software can be integrated with retailers’ software on their Point-of-Sale terminals (tills). That way, a retailer can scan your QR code and send you a digital receipt after purchase, eliminating the need to print a physical receipt.
